Ascetic Life of Prayer

“Even if I have nothing to eat, I will not complain to God.”

Such was the attitude that motivated him: desperate to understand the Bible, even more, Jung prayed and fasted while studying the Word for 70 days. By setting this extreme spiritual condition, he realized that the Word was to the spirit what food was to the body; without God’s Word, our spirits would starve. Through prayer, Jung unraveled God’s Purpose of Creation that had remained unfulfilled for 6,000 years. Armed with the Truth, he sought to spread God’s love and Word into the world, working tirelessly to create a Bible lesson plan.
